• Notes

  During WWII both Jamie and Genevieve were officers in the U. S. Army. After the war he attended Elgin Watchmakers College and two related trade schools. Then he began a career in the U. S. Civil Service by accepting a position at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD as an instructor in watchmaking and repair of fire control instruments. Later he transferred to Ordnance Preventive Maintenance Agency and then to U. S. Army Weapons Command, Rock Island, Ill. as an Equipment Specialist. He was assigned for duty at Ft. Jackson, S. C. until his retirement July 31, 1970.
