Mr. Hanna was born in Florene County, a son of the late O.W. Hanna, Sr. and Iva C. Brown Hanna. He had retired from the Florence County public works and was a retired farmer. Mr. Hanna was married to the late Gertrude G. Hanna for 65 years. Surviving are his children, Ruby Faye (Carol) Cribb of Gaston, SC, Zulene (Don) Thompson, Marion (Faye) Hanna, Troy (Lorraine) Hanna, Tony (Debbie) Hanna, all of Johnsonville; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Eva Lou Altman of Johnsonville, SC. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, in the Morris Funeral Home chapel in Hemingway, with burial in Hanna Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009.   [1]
