| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina Juanita Boykin Juanita Elizabeth Bell Boykin, 89, widow of Hubert Leland Boykin, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, at her home. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Ollie and Annie Garrett Bell. Mrs. Boykin was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was formerly employed by the National Bank of South Carolina. Surviving are a son, Hugh Leonard Boykin (Deborah) of Hampstead, N.C.; a daughter, Linda B. Faulk of Sumter; a sister, Thelma DeHart of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. William Bell “Aunt Piggy” of Summerville; and three grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Sumter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
