| HIST | of Silver, South Carolina JACKIE E. GEDDINGS SUMMERTON - Jackie Elaine Geddings, 65, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at a local nursing facility. Born March 12, 1945, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Silas Perry Geddings and Hattie Mims Geddings. Survivors include a sister, Mary Frances Lee (Curtis) of Manning; and three brothers, Robert Geddings (Dot), Thomas Geddings (Betty) and Gene Geddings, all of Sumter. She was preceded in death by a brother, Otis Geddings. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Paul Abell officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to the Clarendon Baptist Church: Building Fund, P.O. Box 307, Alcolu, SC 29001; or to a charity of one's choice. The family would like to thank the following caretakers: Windsor Manor of Summerton, Clarendon Memorial Hospital of Manning, Thad E. Saleeby Center of Hartsville, Whiton Village of Clinton and especially the ladies of Clyde Street at SCDMR in Florence.
