Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of Jackie Lloyd Burnish and the late Donnie E. Collins Jr. She was a member of Sumter First Church of God. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Robert Burnish of Sumter; three children, Hayden Collins, Devyn Atkinson and Ella Grace Atkinson; three brothers, Donnie E. Collins III (Sabrina) and Hudson Collins (Amanda), both of Sumter, and Brandon Collins of Greenville; one sister, Erin Collins (Trayton Griffin) of Sumter; two stepbrothers, Will Burnish and Robert Burnish, both of Sumter; paternal grandmother, Miriam Collins of Sumter; paternal grandfather, Glenn Brown of Sumter; stepmother, Patti S. Collins of Sumter; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and her special lifelong friend, Jessica McLeod. She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandfather, the Rev. Donnie E. Collins Sr.; and maternal grandmother, Vivian M. Brown. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Sumter First Church of God with the Rev. Ron Bower and the Rev. Michael Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Sumter First Church of God and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, 8201 Corporate Drive, Suite 1000, Landover, MD 20785.
