Mrs. Chrisawn was born in McDowell County, N.C. She was a member of Graham Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Faye C. Foxworth of Sumter; five grandchildren, Anne Owens (Charles), Scott Keels (Karen), Bucky Foxworth (Betty Ann), Susan Sharpe (Dana) and Terri Avin (Griff); and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mona C. Keels; a son, Earl S. Chrisawn Jr.; two sisters, Montie B. Davis and Hessie B. Swann; and three brothers, Clarence Brown, Grade Brown and Ray Brown. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. John Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bucky Foxworth, Charles Owens, Scott Keels, Jeff Davis, Dana Sharpe and James Hawthorne. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Faye C. Foxworth.
