Henderson, 90, widow of the late Charles Brooks Henderson Jr., died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey. Born Feb. 28, 1934, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Carlos Ybarra and Librada Sanchez Ybarra. She was a member of Plaza Church of Christ and a retired massage therapist. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Farmer of Sumter; a son, Lewis Eaton, of Tybee Island, Georgia; a brother, Eliseo Ybarra of Lewisville, Texas; a sister, Libby Martinez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four grandsons, Ross Farmer, Jonathan Eaton, Miles Farmer and Timothy Farmer; two granddaughters, Desiree Farmer and Elizabeth Eaton; great-grandchildren, Hunter Rogers, Stormie Finotti, Madison Healan and Emma Newman; and a great-great-grandson, Eastongray Caples. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Glynon Darrell Eaton; and seven siblings. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2024, at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral and other times at the home, 2810 Jereco Road, Sumter. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, at Plaza Church of Christ. Burial will be in Mayesville Black River Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
