| HIST | She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. LOIS TOMLINSON CROMER Posted Tuesday, June 25, 2019 6:00 am Lois Tomlinson Cromer, 95, widow of Proctor "Proc" A. Cromer, died on Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Covenant Place. Born on Aug. 29, 1923, in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Hinson Tomlinson. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Procter A. "Berry" Cromer Jr. (Elaine) of Manassas, Virginia, Charles S. Cromer of Florence and Michael E. Cromer (Sylvia) of Woodruff; six grandchildren, Keri Gainey, Teresa Sims, Michael Cromer Jr., Joshua Cromer, Sarah Cromer and Meagan Cromer; a great-grandchild, Peyton Sims; and a brother, Keith Tomlinson (Jean) of Paw Paw, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Kevin Massey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 198 E. Wesmark Blvd., Suite 2, Sumter, SC 29150.
