The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Percival LaBruce, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Dale Cromartie, all of Georgetown. He graduated from the College of Charleston with a bachelor of science degree in business and finance.
