The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stacy William Whetsell of Summerton, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Elsie Whetsell Folk and the late Howard Folk of Holly Hill, the late Stacy Whetsell of Summerton, and Mrs. Lucy Walters Turner and the late Roy Burton Turner of Dorchester. She graduated from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy with a doctorate of pharmacy degree. She is employed by Chucks Pharmacy in Holly Hill as a full-time pharmacist. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mrs. Tammy Elizabeth Card of Summerton and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Leroy Osteen of Sumter, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Connie Osteen and Mrs. Katherine Turner Card, all of Sumter, and the late Donald Card of Dover, N.H. He graduated from Sumter High School. He is employed by the City of Sumter as a senior firefighter and by Tuomey Healthcare Systems. The Rev. Robert E. Pierce III officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Candy Ashba, pianist; Mrs. Elizabeth Patrick DuRant and Christian Cribb, vocalists; and Chad Cribb, guitarist. Given in marriage by her mother and father, the bride wore an elegant slim A-line gown of alencon lace featuring delicate scalloped lace trimming the strapless neckline and the hemline of the flared skirt, and a tucked satin sash with long streamers wrapping the waistline and flowing into the chapel-length train. Lauren Elizabeth Whetsell and Virginia Katherine Whetsell served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Allison Blackwell Cribb and Mrs. Lindsay Briggs Furse. Anna Louise Spigner served as flower girl. Burton McPhearson Hatfield III served as best man. Groomsmen were Raymond Larry Hodge, Warren Landon Cribb and Jeffery Lamar Spigner. Robert Michael Osteen served as ring bearer. The bride's parents held the reception at The Cypress Center, Manning. The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at Lenora's, North Santee.
