The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Earl Wilkie of Lexington, is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gertie Greene Ramminger and the late Mr. Edwin Michael Ramminger of Greenville and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Russell Wilkie of Plum Branch. A 2005 graduate of Clemson University, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and is currently a nurse educator at Palmetto Richland and a graduate student at USC. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Pilkington Askins III of Johnsonville, is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gibson Wofford of Hartsville and Mrs. Juanita Baker Askins and the late Mr. Jerome Pilkington Askins Junior of Hemingway. A 2001 graduate of Clemson University and a 2005 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, he is a physician with Lexington Medical Center Urgent Care Swansea. Matron of honor was Mrs. Anna Hutto Wilkie, sister-in-law of the bride. Maid of honor was Christina Renee Hopkins. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Heather Nolan Archer, Mrs. Crystal Hammond Askins, sister-in-law of the groom, Mrs. Courtney Thain Molony, Mrs. Carrie Hopkins Moore, Mrs. Ashley Marie Wash and Ms. Amy McGaha West. Honorary bridesmaid was Miss Ellen Wofford Hawkins, cousin of the groom. Flower girls were Caroline Nicole Askins and Sara Grace Askins, nieces of the groom. Best man was Mr. Jerome Pilkington Askins III, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Dr. Jonathan Patrick Ashley, Dr. Stephen Wofford Askins, brother of the groom, Mr. Chancelor Elwood Blanton, Mr. Robert Earl Campbell, Mr. Bert Louin Davis, Dr. Kyle Taylor Springs and Mr. Jason Craig Wilkie, brother of the bride.
