She departed this life on Monday, Aug. 14, 2023, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia. Public viewing will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Union Station AME Church, 945 S. Main St., Sumter, SC 29150 with the Rev. Lemuel L. Washington officiating. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, SC 29229. The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. daily at the home, 2960 Tindal Road, Sumter, SC 29150. Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
