| HIST | Sarah-Margaret and Mary-Catherine are twins. Sarah-Margaret Evans NEW ZION -- Sarah-Margaret Evans, 14, daughter of Matt and Lynn Evans, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning, surrounded by her family. She was born March 11, 1997, in Florence. She was a member of Midway Presbyterian Church. Left to cherish her memory are her parents of New Zion; a brother, Matthew Evans, and a twin sister, Mary-Catherine Evans, both of New Zion; grandparents, Carl and Janice Evans of New Zion and Carolyn Robertson of Sumter; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and church family; and special caregivers, Anna Bell Brown and Lila McKenzie. Sarah-Margaret brought her family and friends all together in a special way. She taught us how to love and pray. Even though she never spoke a single word, God used her in a very special way. She lit up a room with her presence. Sarah-Margaret was full of purity and innocence and through her, everyone felt God's mighty grace and saw Jesus in her face. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Midway Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Rodney Foster and the Rev. Mike Lowder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1730 Corner Road, New Zion. Memorials may be made to Midway Presbyterian Church Building Fund, c/o Wendell Robinson, 2029 Greeleyville Highway, Manning, SC 29102. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
