MARY GRIFFIN BRANT
Mary Griffin Brant, 74, of Orangeburg, died Friday, Oct.16, 2009, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg.
She was born December 12, 1934, in Sumter County, the daughter of the late Samuel Griffin and the late Nellie McGee Griffin. She was preceded in death by one sister; Hazel Lynn Morgan and by a great-grand daughter, Jorgia Lucille Kemmerlin.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Benjamin Luke Brant of the home; two daughters Lois (Danny) Deaver and Ann Milhouse, both of Orangeburg; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, and Thelma (Harvye) Delk and Louise (Jody) Tallent, both of Augusta, Ga.
Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg. [3] |
