The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Arthur Melton of Columbus, and the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Wilbur Eugene Neisler and Mrs. William Harold Melton and the late Mr. Melton, all of Forsyth, Ga. She graduated with highest honors from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., with a bachelor of arts in finance and a second major in art history. She is pursuing a master's degree in architecture at Clemson University. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Calvin Victor Boykin Sr. of Sumter, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hosea Boykin Sr. of Sumter, and the late Mrs. Mildred Ray Smith and the late Lewis Maddox Ray, both of Camden. He graduated from Wilson Hall School and the University of South Carolina with a degree in religious studies. He is pursuing a master's in architecture and plans to graduate in May 2012. The Rev. Dr. James Charles Elder Jr. officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by the gospel group Spiritually Yours; and Unwind Duo, a classical guitarist and cellist. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Mikado strapless A-line gown with a draped taffeta sash designed by Carolina Herrara. She carried a bouquet of coral charm peonies, pink Juliette roses, white veronica, coral gloriosa, hypericum berries and sweet pea tied with white ribbon. Emily Shea Beck served as maid of honor, with Jensen Mast Melton, sister-in-law of the bride, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Kent Butler, Carter Blanchard Staples and Brianna Michele Spann. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Calvin Victor Boykin Jr. and Zan Wilson Boykin, brothers of the bridegroom, Blake Neisler Melton and William Neisler Melton, brothers of the bride, and Jason Rowland Stone. Ushers were Joshua Madison Kean, Kenneth Mark McWilliams, Ryan Alexander Payne and Chad Pierson Rochester. Also participating were Melissa Ann Boykin, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and Calvin Victor Boykin III, nephew of the bridegroom. The bride's parents held the reception at Pavilion at Middleton Place Plantation. The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at Founders Hall at Charlestowne Landing.
