The bride-elect is a graduate of Hammond School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Clemson University. Kelly is a pediatric nurse at Palmetto Richland Children's Hospital. Mr. Kirby is the grandson of Mrs. Hattie Poole Kirby and the late Mr. James Kirby of Pacolet, S.C., and Mrs. Ann Cathcart Fersner and the late Mr. Tilden Barton Fersner, Jr. of Orangeburg, S.C. The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School. He graduated cum laude from Clemson University with both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master's in accountancy. He is a CPA who is employed with Elliott Davis LLC in Greenville, S.C. The wedding is planned for June 30, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, S.C.
