Wolinski Helen Francis Wolinski, age 95, died on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at National Healthcare Center of Sumter. Ms. Wolinski was born April 19, 1917, in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late Stanley John and Anna Jodash Wolinski. She was employed with GC Murphy for many years. She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. Ms. Wolinski is survived by one sister, Dorothy W. Merchant of Sumter; two godchildren, Terry Anne Smith and her husband, Bill, of Sumter and Sandra Daniels and her husband, Floyd, of Ohio; six nephews and nieces, Richard Merchant and his wife, Renee, Timothy Merchant and his wife, Beth, Cynthia Smith and her husband, Lynn, Deborah Van Metre and husband, Robert, Ronald Spataro and his wife, Sophie, and Anna Mae Litvak and her husband, Bill; along with a host of grand and great-grandnephews and nieces. Ms. Wolinski was preceded in death by two sisters, Genevieve Spataro and Janet DiSabantonio; and three great-grandnieces, Amy Smith, Sheila Merchant and Kimberly Merchant. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Burke C.Ss.R officiating. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bullock Funeral Home with the Rosary starting at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church Building Fund, 206 E.
