Baker Jr. of Radford, Va., and the Rev. John F. Burleson and the late Mrs. Burleson of Lenoir City, Tenn. She graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelor of business administration in economics and the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Del., with a juris doctor degree. She is a prosecutor with the General Prosecution and State Grand Jury Unit of the Office of the South Carolina Attorney General. The bridegroom is the son of retired Maj. Gen. and Mrs. Harry Beck Burchstead Jr. of Sumter, and the grandson of Ramon Schwartz Jr. and the late Mrs. Schwartz of Sumter and the late Col. and Mrs. Harry Beck Burchstead of Reidville. He graduated from the College of Charleston with a bachelor of arts in English and from the University of South Carolina School of Law with a juris doctor degree. He is a prosecutor with the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Office of the South Carolina Attorney General. Chaplain Col. Steven Lynn Shugart officiated. The bride's sister, Mrs. Martha Street Ware, served as matron of honor. The bridegroom's father served as best man. A reception followed the ceremony. The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at 300 Senate Street. Following a wedding trip to Amelia Island, Fla., the couple resides in Columbia.
