Born Sept. 30, 1985, in Springfield, Massachusetts, and raised in Southampton, Massachusetts, he was the son of Joseph A. Brzys and Laura Jean Dinger Brzys. He was employed as a plumber and worked with Hill Plumbing, Rourke Plumbing and Wright Way Plumbing. Survivors include his parents of Wedgefield; a son, Eli Anthony Brzys; a sister, Brandi Jean Brzys; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Dinger of Sumter; his girlfriend, Michelle Amerson, and her daughter, Kylie Ketchum; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. There will be a reception following the service in the fellowship hall of Wise Drive Church of the Nazarene. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to go towards Jason's services at www.GoFundMe.com (gf.me/u/Q669HW).
