She is a graduate student at the University of South Carolina where she is pursuing a master's in speech pathology. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Lou Lawson and the late John Lawson of Forrest City, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hill of Chicago, Ill. He is a 2001 graduate of Forrest City High School and a 2006 graduate of Lee University with a bachelor of arts degree in youth ministry.
