  HIST	MAURICE SERUYA Maurice Seruya, age 56, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born Nov. 13, 1956, in Sacramento, Calif., he was a son of Minerva Beyda Seruya and the late Mitchel M. Seruya. He was the owner of Mike’s Grill in Manning. He had a heart of gold and a willpower more than anyone could possibly imagine. His spirit and strength was an inspiration to all. He loved country music, 10-gallon hats, fishing and wrestling. He will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother and friend. We know you are resting in peace and will be deeply missed and always truly loved. He was a member of Temple Sinai. Surviving in addition to his mother are one son, Michael Andrew Seruya of Idaho; two daughters, Sabrina Marie Seruya of Bishopville and Katie Ann Seruya of Arkansas; nine brothers, Aaron Seruya, Issac Seruya, Lawrence Seruya, Sheldon Seruya, Ronald Seruya, Dennis Seruya, Ernest D. Seruya, Steven B. Seruya and Jeffrey Seruya; four sisters, Anita Rizkalla, Sara R. Newman, Doreen Gosski and Leona B. Scarano. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sara Seruya. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today in Temple Sinai Cemetery, 700 W. Oakland Ave., Sumter, SC 29150.
