  Extracts from the diary of Ann Eliza Rogers Dec 25, 1866 Alexander Rogers ( cousin ) and Bessie Moore.[ married] Dec 20, 1867 Alexander & Bessie have gone to housekeeping in Mr.Nichol's house. They have been living at Uncle William's ever sincethey were married. Mr.N. moved to Mr.Peck's. Oct 20, 1868 Mrs. Alexander Rogers has a little girl nearly a weekold. Aug4, 1872 Alex had a son, born on the 2nd. Feb 4, 1875 Mrs. Alexander Rogers had another daughter. Dec 10, 1894 Mrs. Alexander Rogers died this morning. Dec 14, 1894 Mrs. Rogers' brothers were all here and all her sistersbut Ada (Mrs. Smith). They went away today. Dec 12 1866 MN - m. 6th inst. Wesleyan Chapel, Hopewell Hill (AlbertCo.) by Rev Jas. ROGERS, Esq., Registrar of Deeds and d/o late Thos. B. MOORE,Esq., Barrister, age 53 years. 13 December 1894 LEAF 2637 Mrs. Alex. ROGERS who died at Hopewell, Monday morn. Dec. 10 ofchronic pneumonia, was the eldest d/o late Thos. B. MOORE, barristerof Moncton and was born Nov. 2, 1841 at Dorchester (West. Co.). Shewas married at the Methodist Church at Hopewell Dec. 5, 1866 and fromthen until her death was at the Hill. Her funeral took place from theMethodist Church on Thursday last, Rev. W.E. Johnson officiating. Mrs.Rogers leaves a husband, two sons and two daughters. The threebrothers of the deceased, Dr. P.R. MOORE, Los Angeles, California,Capt. Chas. MOORE, Sackville and George W. MOORE, Boston and twosisters, Mrs. Dr. McDONALD, Petitcodiac and Mrs. James MILLER, Truro,NS, with her husband, attended the funeral. Mrs. R. leaves one othersister, Mrs. SMITH of Munroe, Iowa. Mrs. Rogers united with theMethodist Church during the spring of 1888 under the ministrations ofJ.S.
