  HIST	CECILE F. MILES Cecile Frye Miles, 58, widow of Earl Davis Miles, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, after a long fight with cancer. Born in Florence County, she was the daughter of the late R.B. Frye and the late Molinda Miles Frye. Mrs. Miles was a member of Sumter Freewill Baptist of the Pentecostal Faith Church and a retired seamstress. Surviving are a son, Earl D. Miles Jr. of Sumter; two daughters, Bonita Griffin and husband, Kenny, and Crystal Frye, both of Sumter; two sisters, Betty Evans and husband, Q.L., and Emma Horne and husband, Buddy, all of Sumter; four brothers, Glenn Frye and wife, Dale, of Columbia, Robert Frye and wife, Shirley, Willie Frye, Randy Frye and wife, Ivy, all of Sumter; six grandchildren, Matthew "Corey" Williamson, Dustin Williamson, Raven Miles, Duane Griffin, Molinda "Keri" Miles and John Griffin; special friends, Christine Vencill, Sudie Barkley, Michelle Frye and Nette Lee; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Sumter Freewill Baptist of the Pentecostal Faith Church with the Rev. Larry Melton and the Rev. Clint Tawes officiating. Burial will follow in the Strickland Cemetery in Camp Branch. Pallbearers will be Michael Horne, Corey Williamson, Dustin Williamson, Shane Frye, Scott Frye and Michael Albright. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Evans and Duane Griffin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, Betty Evans, 3725 Barkley Road.
