I don’t know how to fix it though? jkh CARL EDWIN BOLSER Posted Saturday, August 28, 2021 6:00 am Carl Edwin Bolser, 78, husband of Marilyn Russell Bolser, died on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at his home. Born on Oct. 4, 1942, in Cedar Grove, Indiana, he was a son of the late Raymond Thomas Bolser and Lilly Faye Singleton Bolser. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was formerly employed by B.L. Montague and retired from Merchant Iron Works. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He enjoyed tending to his garden. Survivors include his wife of 26 years; two children, Raymond Bolser (Donna) of Dalzell and Carla Malabre of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Aaron Bolser and Alexandrie Malabre; a sister, Geraldine Clark (Jim) of New Trenton, Indiana; five brothers, Mike Bolser (Marcia) of Indiana, Larry Bolser (Cathey) of Indiana, Kenneth Bolser of Dalzell, Thomas Bolser (Sharon) of Indiana and Greg Bolser (Jeannie) of Indiana; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lily Pearl Bolser; three brothers, Hubert Bolser, Henry Bolser and Timothy Bolser; and a sister, Patsy Sizemore. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday at Long Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Bolser, David Bolser, Shane Russell, Bobby Castro, John Sammons and John "Bubba" Benenhaley. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilson Ray and Gary Farmer. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Long Branch Baptist Church, 2535 Peach Orchard Road, Dalzell, SC 29040. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
