She plans to graduate from the University of South Carolina Upstate at Sumter in December 2013 with a degree in elementary education. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Timmons of Pinewood, and Mr. and Mrs. Pete McCoy and the late Floyd Griffin, all of Sumter. He plans to graduate from Central Carolina Technical College in December 2013 with a degree in natural resource management. The wedding is planned for March 8, 2014, at Hidden Acres in Marion.
