| HIST | David B. Russell David Burgess Russell, 65, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at his home. Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Harry and Janie Worsham Russell. He was a member of Fraser Memorial Presbyterian Church. Survivors include four brothers, H. Roland Russell of Orlando, Fla., and William J. Russell Sr. (Cary), Francis W. Russell (Karen) and James S. Russell, all of Sumter; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Sally Edens. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. Memorials may be made to Fraser Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1746 U.S. 521 South, Sumter, SC 29153. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
