McIntosh. Larry passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023. Larry will be lovingly remembered as the devoted husband of Linda Baird McIntosh. He was the cherished brother of Randy (Cathy) McIntosh. He was preceded in death by his three other cherished siblings, James McIntosh, Dorothy Barkley and Jeanette Kolb. He leaves behind a legacy of love as the father of Angie (Bud) Kidd, Larry Oscar McIntosh Jr. (Stephanie) McIntosh; and stepfather to Stormy (Joe) Clark and Brandy (James) Mullennax. Larry was the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. In honor of his life of service, a memorial ceremony will be held with military funeral honors at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, located in Columbia, at a later date where friends and family can pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for outside plants that can be planted in his memory for his spouse to see growing each year. Plants can be sent to 247 Mariners Row, Columbia, SC 29212.
