| HIST | DEBRA WELCH Posted Friday, November 29, 2019 6:00 am Debra Odom Welch, 70, wife of Danny C. Welch, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Born Oct. 27, 1949, in Darlington, she was a daughter of the late Willie Odom and Essie Suggs Odom. Mrs. Welch attended Bethel Baptist Church. She was employed by Dixie-Darlington for several years. Survivors include her husband of Sumter; two children, Pam Saverance (David) and William Kelly (Rebecca), both of Darlington; a stepson, Daniel Welch (Kim) of Sumter; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Fraser officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 3105 Avin Road. Memorials may be sent to McLeod Hospice House, 1203 E.
