She graduated from Sumter High School, Central Carolina Nursing School with an associate degree and Capella University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed by Prisma Health-Midlands. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Joyce Tompkins and the late Mr. Richard Tompkins Sr. of Calais, Maine, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John McArthur of Baileyville, Maine. He graduated from Blythewood High School and Central Carolina Technical College with an Associate Degree in Natural Resource Management. He is employed by FedEx. The bride is the daughter of Ms. Debbie Bramlett DuRant of Sumter and Dr. Eddie C. Durant Jr. of Wedgefield and the granddaughter of Dr. Eddie C. Durant Sr. of Sumter and the late Mrs. Gloria Bell DuRant and Mr. Henry Luke Bramlett Sr. of Murrells Inlet and the late Mrs. Elma Bramlett. Bridesmaids were Sarah Weathersbee, Kristian Pritchard, Sara Tompkins, Rachel Tompkins, Tiffany Caldwell, Megan Ray, Katie Stafford, Amanda Parks, Riley Hyder and Mackenzie Hyder. Vayda Lynn Jenkins served as flower girl. The bridegroom's father served as best man.
