Born in Twillingate, Newfoundland, Canada, she was a daughter of the late James and Hilda Greenham. Mrs. Tickel retired from SAFE Federal Credit Union. She dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include two sons, Wayne Tickel and Larry Tickel (Cynthia), both of Dalzell; one daughter, Sherri T. Baker of Sumter; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Parkinson's Disease Foundation, P.O. Box 61420, Staten Island, NY 10306.
