| HIST | JUDY ANN MORRIS SMITH Posted Tuesday, May 17, 2022 6:00 am Judy Ann Morris Smith, 81, widow of Fred Rollins Smith, died on Friday, May 13, 2022, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. Born in Turbeville, she was a daughter of the late John Shelton Morris and Merle Floyd Morris. Mrs. Smith served as a registered nurse for 53 years and retired from NHC Healthcare. She was a member of Green Acres Assembly of God Church. Surviving are two sons, Shelton Todd Smith and Gregory Alan Smith, both of Sumter; two sisters, Shirley Ward and Alma Earline Morris, both of Sumter; three grandchildren, Christopher Rollins Smith, Ashley Nicole Smith and Patrick Martin Smith; and five great-grandchildren, Hunter Rollins Smith, Savannah Grace Fisher, Brian Fisher, John Matthew Smith and Baylor James Morris. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Bowman officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
