Born on Sept. 25, 1988, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Richard Maurice Pollock Jr. and Ruby Carroll Hammell. Survivors include one brother, Travis Lee Pollock; two sisters, Crystal Pollock Ashworth and Kimberly Corbett: four nieces, Athena, Storm, Ruby and Olivia; three nephews, Carlowe, Michael and Eli; other aunts, uncles and many cousins. Special acknowledgement to Aunt Tami and Uncle Gene and a special cousin, Nikki Finkbeiner. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Brendan. A private burial will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.
