Clarendon County Coroner Jacqueline Blackwell said Leverne Harrington died at the scene. The Manning Police Department said a vehicle struck Harrington about 8:50 p.m. as he was crossing South Mill Street near Bozard Street. An investigation by the department determined the driver of the vehicle that struck Harrington was not at fault.  [2]
