Born in Conifer, New York, she was a daughter of the late Phillip Edward Pepper and Adeline Trippany Pepper. Surviving are three sons, Gary Stowe (La-Or), Daryl Stowe (Vickie) and Michael Stowe (Karen); three daughters, Shirley Collett, Rosemary Perillo (Tony) and Renee Thurmond (Russell); one stepsister, Nancy Blinn; one stepbrother, Edward Perry; eight grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, David John Stowe. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Giovannie Nunez, CRM officiating. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Collett, Brian Stowe, Andrew Stowe, Christian Plemons, Joshua Stowe and Tristian Stowe. The family will receive friends at her home, 1248 Doby St., Sumter, SC 29150. Memorials may be made to St. Anne and St. Jude Catholic Church Building Fund, 216 E. Liberty St., Sumter, SC 29150.
