Born Oct. 23, 1962, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Robert Mauldin and the late Betty Joyce Hill. She loved shopping and spending time with her family. Survivors include two daughters, Hope Melton (Daniel) and Stacey Pickerson; four grandchildren, Shanna Ingham, Penelope Pickerson, Skyler Croft and Kelsey Croft; a great-grandson, Carter Twigg; her significant other, Gary Dixon; and her stepmother, Dorothy Mauldin. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Allen Mauldin. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home, 515 Miller Rd., Sumter.
