  Isaac III inherited 200 acres in Wateree Swamp and also land at at Dorchester. Most of the Sumter County Brunsons are descended from David or Isaac III. He served in the Revolutionary War and moved to Edgefield District about 1786. He is listed as a petit juror there in 1787. According to one record he died intestate in 1827 and was listed “of Cane Savannah.” It is recorded that his estate was settled by his son-in-law Jeremiah Pitts. Papers are recorded in Sumter County Courthouse, Probate Judge’s office, Bundle 14--pkg. 7. He left 500 acres of land at Cane Savannah, Sumter District. [3]
