Tomlinson MANNING -- Dell Brunson "Mrs. T" Tomlinson, 89, widow of William David "Willie" Tomlinson Sr., died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born June 7, 1922, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Alexander Kell Brunson and Lola Putnam Brunson. She was a graduate of Winthrop College, a former teacher at Christian Academy and Laurence Manning Academy and a member of Manning First Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Linda T. Beard of Sumter, Kay T. Robinson (John) of Rock Hill and Lola T. Bradshaw of Manning; a son, William David "Will" Tomlinson of Manning; a sister, Elizabeth B. Reid of Rock Hill; 10 grandchildren; a step-grandson; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy B. Compton. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Manning First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Vassar officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service and other times at the home of her granddaughter, 1083 Seminole Drive, Manning.
