WILLIAM McLEOD
William George Thomas "Jack" McLeod, 46, husband of Mildred C. McLeod, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Palmetto Health Richland.
Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Joseph Adams McLeod and Martha Elizabeth Bagnal McLeod. Mr. McLeod was a member of Bible Way Holiness Church. He was employed at Becton-Dickinson and loved hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of Sumter; three sons, J.J. McLeod, Michael McLeod and Joshua McLeod, all of Sumter; a brother, Joe McLeod (Shirley) of Manning; and two sisters, Martha M. Hutchinson of Manning and Debbie M. Lucas (Henry) of Manning.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Marion E. Hudson and the Rev. Dale Turner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2735 Tindal Road, Sumter.
