MISS BYNUM
Mrs. Henry Clarke Bynum Jr. announces the engagement of her daughter, Cynthia Satcher Bynum, to William Branford Armstrong, son of Edwin Morgan Armstrong and Mrs. Julie Gaw Armstrong, all of Columbia.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Henry Clarke Bynum Jr. of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Cynthia Crouch Satcher and Benjamin Wright Satcher of Lexington, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clarke Bynum of Sumter. She graduated from Wilson Hall and Clemson University with a bachelor of science in marketing. She is employed by The Cason Group, Columbia.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Edwin Benson Armstrong Jr. and the late Mrs. Marilee Meares Armstrong of Burlington, N.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Goodwin Gaw of Laurinburg, N.C. He graduated from Wingate University with a bachelor of science in marketing. He is employed as the vice president of Plan Benefit Services, Inc., Columbia.
