MRS. CHRISTOPHER FORD
Amber Nicole Hutson and Christopher Karl Ford were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at San Souci Farms, Sumter.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Grant Gibbons, and the granddaughter of retired Lt. Col. and Mrs. Kenneth L. Gardner, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Rand Stokes, all of Sumter. She graduated from Wilson Hall and attends Central Carolina Technical College.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Karl Ford of Sumter, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Ford of Sumter, and Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rush Holladay of Pinewood. He graduated from Laurence Manning Academy.
Mike Lowder officiated at the ceremony.
Given in marriage by her grandfather and stepfather, the bride wore a satin A-line, tank-style gown with a ruched V-neckline and beaded embroidery at the empire waist. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white calla lilies and white hydrangea.
Brianna Corinne Pruitt served as maid of honor, with Jessica Ford McGee, sister of the bridegroom, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Raye Ross, Candice Jill Welch, Stormy Ann Bailey, Courtney Jean Holladay and Whitney Hanna Thompson. Lanie Rhane McGee and Hanna Grace Gibbons served as flower girls.
The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Scott Ronner, brother of the bride, William Chase Goins, Michael Bradley McGee, Oliver Johnson James, Christopher Eugene Rowland and Michael Charles Avin Jr. Bradley Peyton McGee served as ring bearer.
Also participating were Sarah Elizabeth Pruitt and Lily Analise Pruitt.
The bride's parents held the reception at San Souci Farms.
The bridegroom's parents held the rehearsal party at Angel's.
