| HIST | Robert and family moved to Louisiana in 1811 and were neighbors to Stephen Spights of Lawrence County, Mississippi, for eight years in the Parish of St. Helena. Stephen Spights also stated that Robert and family then moved to St. Landry Parish where Robert died leaving his wife Polly and five children, 2 sons and 3 daughters. Hymbrick Singleton, Roberts nephew, was appointed as the Executor of his estate. (Note: Biggers Singleton sold land to Stephen W. Speight in S.C. that he had purchased from Daniel Sparrow in 1804.
