  HIST	Seth Singleton of the State of Louisiana, Parish of St. Landry, being at the time in Sumter DIstrict of the State of S.C., do make and ordain & appoint Isaac Woodard of Sumter DIstrict my sole and lawful Power of Attorney to act for me in all my interest as a heir in all the real and personal estate of John Singleton and Frances Singleton, deceased, to sue and he sued, plead and be unpleaded in all the business that relates to my interest within the State of S.C. and District of Sumterville, to more fully underastand said Estate of John and Frances deceased, now in Equity under the direction of Col. John B. Miller except as much as has been recently withdrawn by the mutual consent of each heir present. Recorded 18 Mar 1822 in Bk. FF-166, Sumter County, S.C.  [1]
