| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina of Oswego, South Carolina MARVIN ROBINSON Posted Friday, March 15, 2024 2:37 pm Marvin Robinson, 82, beloved husband of Patricia Nesbitt Robinson, died Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey. Born March 21, 1941, in Oswego, he was the son of the late Olin Robinson and Mozelle Mathis Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a retired railroad conductor with CSX, an Army Reservist, and a member of Bethel Methodist Oswego. He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Gina Robinson, Lori Robinson; a son, Ken Robinson; and a sister, Gloria Connor (Jerry), all of Oswego. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at Bethel Methodist Oswego, with the Rev. Tim Whited, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint Ardis, Mitch Ardis, Aaron Poston, Ty Poston, Bryson Pack and Robbie Pack. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 3635 Leonard Brown Road.
