COLUMBIA - M. Scott Follin, 36, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Providence Health in Columbia.
Born on Jan. 22, 1982, in Sumter, he was a son of J. Terry Follin Sr. and Donna D. Follin. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He was a loving father and son.
Survivors include his mother of Sumter; father and stepmother, Dianne Follin of Sumter; a son, Sean Lucas Follin of Sumter; fianc , Lauren Wise of Columbia; two brothers, Julian "Jay" Follin Jr. (Lynn) and Adam Follin (Andrea), all of Sumter; a sister, Amber Follin Young (Tommy) of Sumter; and a stepbrother, Robert Cook Jr. of Sumter.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Johnny Corbett officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, 48 Pine Manor Court, Sumter.
