| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina EDNA MAE STEGNER Posted Sunday, July 14, 2019 6:00 am Edna Mae Stegner, 83, widow of Robert Edward Stegner, of Sumter, died July 12, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. Born in Pinewood, she was the daughter of the late Harmon N. Turner and Lottie Mae Brewer Turner. She retired from Campbell Soup in Sumter. She is survived by two sons, Joseph L. Stegner (Georgana), and Martin K. Stegner, both of Sumter; two daughters, M. Denise Koscica (Anthony) of Youngsville, North Carolina, and Amanda L. Schlender (John) of Savannah, Georgia; three sisters, Lucille Austin (P.O.) of Sumter, Daisy Kirkpatrick (Daniel) of Gable, and Rebecca Burke (Albert) of Hookerton, North Carolina; three brothers, Troy Turner (Mary), Raymond Turner (Lillie May) and Charles Turner (Shirley), all of Sumter; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Robin Felicia Stegner; three brothers, Richard Turner, Harmon Turner Jr. and Claude Turner; and one sister, Lee Turner. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Sumter.
