INGRAM CAMDEN - John Alva "Johnny" Ingram, 57, died Friday, July 17, 2010, at WJBD VA Medical Center in Columbia. Born in Sumter, he was a son of Dorothy B. Ingram and the late Leslie E. Ingram. He was the owner and operator of Ingram's Heating and Air and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his mother of Sumter; a daughter, Crystal Ingram Roof (Rich) of Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Hannah Gracen, Ethan, Caleb, and Abigail Ryen; a brother, Ronnie Eugene Ingram of Lugoff; two sisters, Patricia Pearson (Kim) of St. Louis and Linda Parker (Jimmy) of Sumter; four nieces and a nephew. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Monday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Donnie Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
