Hawkins, originally from Sumter, passed away on Aug. 15, 2017, at the age of 93, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, retired Lt. Col. Paul V. Hawkins; her son, Dr. Paul Randall Hawkins (Judith) of Daisy, Georgia; and daughters, Geanne Behr (Gene) of Holly Hill, Linda Schofield (Rocky) of Summerville and Dr. Cathy Seymore (Jeff) of Daniel Island. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild to cherish her memory. Memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday at Mount Holly Methodist Church in Rock Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Holly Methodist Church in Rock Hill or Hospice of Charleston. Charleston Cremation Center of Charleston is assisting the family.  [2, 5, 6, 7, 9]
