  After the death of Placidia, after only a few years, he went to Toronto, Canada and took a degree in Veterinary Science. He practiced his profession as Veterinarian for Vanderbuilt’s “Biltmore Stables” and later was Veterinarian for Tatterstall Stables in Lexington, Kentucky. [2]
