The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Conover of Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Windel Locklear of Hayesville, North Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Ware of Jacksonville, Florida, and the late John McGovern. He graduated from Union County High School in Lake Butler, Florida. He is employed as a maintenance technician at Brookdale Anderson.
