The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rockwell Young Sr., the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bryan Steele Sr. and Mrs. Ceceilia Steele, all of Sumter. He graduated from Wilson Hall in 2017 and The Citadel in 2021. He is a United States Army Infantry Officer.
